Privacy Policy

Tabular — Last updated: May 2026

Tabular ("we," "our," "the app") is a table extraction app that processes documents entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle data.

Local Processing

All scanning, recognition, and data processing happen on your device. We do not send your documents, images, or table data to any servers. No personal data is collected or transmitted by our app.

Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

Data on Your Device

When you use Tabular, the following stay only on your device:

In-App Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple via StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details, email, or other personal information from Apple. Purchase verification is handled entirely by Apple's systems.

To check whether your subscription is active, Tabular reads the StoreKit transaction record provided by the operating system. This record stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Children's Privacy

Tabular is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not request or transmit any personal information at all; if you believe a child has used the app and you have concerns, please contact us.

Diagnostics

If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements, Apple may share anonymized crash and performance reports with us. These reports are aggregated by Apple, contain no personal identifiers, and never include your scanned images, table data, or document contents. You can disable this at any time in iOS Settings.

Data Deletion

All data associated with Tabular is stored locally on your device. To delete your data, simply delete the app. This removes all saved documents and settings.

Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and other applicable laws, you have the right to know what data we hold (none), request deletion (delete the app), and contact us with questions. Since we do not collect personal data, no further action is required on your part.

Data Controller

For purposes of GDPR and similar regulations, Pavel Yatskevich, the developer of Tabular, acts as the data controller. Because the app does not collect or process personal data, no processing activities are recorded and no data subject requests need to be fulfilled. You may still contact us with any privacy-related question using the address below.

Contact

For questions about this policy or your privacy, contact us at tabular.app@gmail.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
