Frequently asked questions

How do I export my data?

Settings → Данные / Data → "Экспорт JSON" exports all logs in a portable JSON format. Aurora Plus users can also export CSV for their neurologist via Settings → Данные → "CSV для невролога".

How do I delete all my data?

Settings → Данные → "Удалить все данные" wipes local SwiftData and triggers CloudKit deletion within 30 days per Apple's standard SLA. This action is irreversible.

Why doesn't Aurora collect any data on a server?

Aurora is privacy-first by design. All computation (MOH analysis, case-crossover triggers, predictions, PDF rendering) happens on your iPhone. There is no backend, no analytics SDK, no third-party trackers. Sync between your devices uses your private CloudKit container — Apple treats this as your own data, not ours.

How do I cancel my Aurora Plus subscription?

iOS Settings → Apple ID (your name at the top) → Subscriptions → Aurora Plus → Cancel. You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I get a refund?

Refunds for subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select Aurora to request a refund.

I bought Aurora Plus on another device — how do I restore it?

Settings → Aurora Plus → "Восстановить покупки" / "Restore Purchases". Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

Family Sharing — does it work?

Yes. Aurora Plus Monthly, Annual, and Lifetime all support Family Sharing. Members of your Apple Family Group automatically get access while the subscription is active.

Why does Aurora ask for my location?

Only to fetch barometric pressure from WeatherKit — pressure drops are one of the strongest migraine triggers. Coordinates are never stored. If you decline, Aurora uses a privacy-preserving default city.

Aurora isn't a medical device — what does that mean for me?

Aurora is a wellness app. It doesn't diagnose, treat, or prescribe. The PDF report and analytics are designed as structured material for your neurologist consultation. Always discuss medical decisions with your doctor.
